All new Ford models are outfitted with SYNC® infotainment technology, which plays out as its own full operating system, in the same vein as Apple’s iOS and Android OS. SYNC AppLink features and operation

AppLink is one of the most advanced app integration systems on the automotive market – it utilizes full voice recognition technology that you can use to listen to music and podcasts, call your friends, get directions, and even more just by speaking! All you have to do is connect your compatible smartphone to the SYNC system, and you’ll have all the best tech features at your disposal!

What apps are available with SYNC AppLink?

Most new Ford vehicles are outfitted with the SYNC®3 infotainment interface, and it comes with plenty of great apps that can help you stream your favourite songs or navigate your way around town. Some of the best apps that are currently available for download with AppLink include:

  • Tidal Music
  • Ford + Alexa (Not available Yet in Canada)
  • IHeartRadio
  • Slacker Radio
  • Pandora
  • Waze Navigation & Live Travel

The best part is that all of these apps are completely free to download and use, so there’s no reason not to!
