2.3L EcoBoost®

With an optimally-sized twin-scroll turbocharger that separates the exhaust runner in two chambers, the 2.3L EcoBoost engine option in the 2018 Mustang is capable of transferring high-pulse energy to the turbine wheel which results in an ultrafast time-to-torque ratio. On the 2017 model, this engine cranked out an impressive 310 horsepower and up to 320 lb-ft of torque. Just think of what it’s going to provide to the 2018 Mustang! Simply climb in, turn it on, and feel the power as soon as your foot touches the gas pedal.

5.0L Coyote V8

The new generation 5.0L Coyote V8 engine has been designed to be more powerful and efficient than ever before. This monster of an engine living underneath the hood of the 2018 Mustang is capable of cranking out up to 460 horsepower and an amazing 420 lb-ft or torque! The Coyote V8 also features dual-fuel, high-pressure direct injection and lo-pressure port fuel technology to further increase its power and efficiency.
