Previously exclusive to the V8-powered Mustang GT, this new technology will even be standard on the new 2.3L EcoBoost® Mustang. Models fit with the 10-speed SelectShift® automatic or 6-speed manual transmission will also get the new feature.
Behind the wheel of the 2018 Mustang, Ford’s new Line-Lock technology is easy to use with steering wheel mounted thumbs switches and menu options right on the instrument cluster. What the system does, once engaged, is apply pressure to front brake calipers for approximately 15 seconds.
