The 2020 Explorer has undergone a much-needed revision for the upcoming model year, offering two new high-powered trims in the form of an athletic ST model and ultra-efficient Hybrid option. The former is paired with a 400-horsepower engine, and the latter is able to handle a maximum tow rating north of 5,000 pounds while still achieving a highway driving range greater than 800 kilometres!
2020 Ford Explorer new drive platforms and powertrain features
Perhaps the most impressive new inclusion for the 2020 Explorer is its Rear-Wheel Drive architecture, which exudes a sportier, athletic exterior that has enough brawn to go with its beauty.
