Built to be the be all, end all of today’s performance cars, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is nothing short of an absolute monster. We can’t be more excited to see it in action once it arrives in Alberta later this summer, so we won’t keep you waiting any longer – join Sherwood Ford today as we take you on a quick trip around the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500’s best features!
The 2020 Shelby GT500 is already being touted as the most powerful production car ever created, and the raw numbers back that up greatly. Under the hood, it’ll feature a supercharged 5.2-litre V8 that can crank out (wait for it) 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque! Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, this will allow the Shelby GT500 to speed from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds!
Stepping inside, you’ll be greeted with the same race-inspired accents you might expect, as well as some innovations you might not. The GT500 will feature optional Recaro racing seats, a carbon-fibre instrument panel, and a 12-inch LCD instrument cluster. You’ll also have an 8-inch touchscreen interface to work with, housing SYNC® 3 infotainment – all media can be played through a 12-speaker B&O™ Play audio system, one of the most advanced in the market!
