Do you want to take your Mustang’s performance to the next level? A Roush Performance Pac is the perfect upgrade to increase horsepower and torque. Join our Sherwood Ford team to learn more about the Level 1 and Level 2 Roush Performance Pac for the 2018-2020 Ford Mustang.

Ford Mustang Roush Performance Pac

Available now through Sherwood Ford near Edmonton for the 2018 through 2020 2.3-liter and 5.0L V8 GT Mustang. The Roush Performance Pac Level 1 and 2 on the 2.3-liter adds 33 rearwheel horsepower and 37 rearwheel pound-feet of torque over the stock numbers. Pac level 1 and 2 on the 5.0-liter adds 24 RWHP and 18 ft-lb RWTQ over stock. Both Pac Level 1 and 2 features a cold air intake that takes cooler, denser air into the engine to increase overall power and boost the sound produced by the Mustang. Pac 2 adds an axle-back exhaust system for that signature race-inspired rumble you crave.

Roush Performance CAI and Calibration

The cold air intake includes a high flow, high-capacity washable, and reusable performance dry element air filter that never requires oiling. The Level 1 and 2 Performance Pac on 2.3-liter includes a performance calibration that is optimized for 93 octane fuel but is compatible with 91 octane fuel as well. On the 5.0-litre, the Level 1 and 2 Pac includes a performance calibration that is optimized for 91-octane fuel and is compatible with lower octane levels with a potential decrease in performance.

Roush also notes that the tuning calibration included with the Performance Pac Level 1 and 2  improves throttle response and delivers a sportier driving experience on both the 2.3-liter EcoBoost in-line four-cylinder (excluding high output) and 5.0-litre V8 engines. (Excluding Mustangs fitted with the Ford Active Exhaust)

Unlock More Power and Efficiency

The cold air intake included in the Performance Pac replaces the entire restrictive stock air intake system to unlock more power and efficiency. Roush says that installation is “quick and easy” and can be completed in under an hour with basic hand tools in your garage or driveway. For those worried about warranty coverage, the Performance Pac comes with a Roush three-year/36,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty.

Those wanting to upgrade later with Sherwood Ford can add the Roush cat-back exhaust system pushing it to Level 2 Pac performance. Roush says with the system installed, the four-cylinder Mustang is good to the rear wheels for 296 horsepower and 349 pound-feet of torque, both significant gains from stock. The V8 Mustang GT is good to the rear wheels for 441 horsepower and 387 pound-feet of torque.
