Part of the reason that we love coming to work every day is because of the culture that we’ve built here at Sherwood Ford. Our team is made up of the friendliest and most helpful people you’ll ever meet, always willing to help with a smile on our faces. Still, when it’s time to get down to business, you can count on us to work hard until the job is done right.
If you’re looking to join a fast-paced, high-energy dealership team, you’re in luck – we’re hiring in our service department! Today we want to show you how you can apply, as well as what you’ll need under your belt – if we think you fit the qualifications, we’ll give you a look!
Right off the bat, you’ll need to make sure that you’re either a licensed Journeyman Technician or a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice. Ideally, we’d love for applicants to have been to three trade school levels with experience working in the auto service industry.
A minimum of 2-3 years in the automotive business is recommended, as is an extensive knowledge of Ford vehicles. Ford training will give you a definite leg up, but we should mention that it’s not a necessity, as we’d be happy to give you the training you need if you check off all the boxes.
