The Ford Flex is a popular sport utility vehicle and today we’re taking a look at some of the technological features that are available on the 2018 Flex.
Here at Sherwood Ford, we want to keep all of you in the know about the many advancements Ford vehicles possess. That’s why we’ve decided to tell you about a handful of the available technologies on the Ford Flex. More and more people are making the switch to sport utility vehicles and to make sure you know which one is best for you, we’re here to provide you with information on all of Ford’s incredible lineup of SUVs. Without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the technology on the Ford Flex.
Available on the 2018 Flex, the Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS®, uses sensors that are located along the side panels of the vehicle to keep an eye out for other vehicles entering into your blind spots. When the system detects that another car is in an area that you might not be able to see, it will automatically illuminate a warning light on the appropriate side-view mirror to let you know it isn’t safe to change lanes.
Another incredible feature that is available on the 2018 Flex is the Active Park Assist Feature. This innovative system uses ultrasonic sensors located all around the vehicle in order to scan for and locate parking spaces that your Flex will fit inside of. Once a space is found, you’ll be prompted to let the system park your Flex for you. While you take care of the brake pedal, the accelerator, and shift the gears, the system will fit your Flex into even the tightest of spots, and can even parallel park your Flex!
