Technology Features on the 2018 Ford Focus

Thanks to many innovative technologies, the 2018 Ford Focus is out to make driving more convenient and hassle-free.

We live in a tech-crazy world, and it just makes sense that our vehicles are becoming more tech-friendly than ever before. Take the 2018 Ford Focus for example. It’s full of standard and available technologies that have been designed to fit in with the modern world. Smartphone compatibility, sensors that monitor other vehicles, and even a parking system are just a few of the ways that the engineers at Ford have brought the 2018 Focus into the future.

Lane-Keeping System

Available on the 2018 Ford Focus, the Lane-Keeping System uses a sensor located in the front of your car to determine your exact location on the road. If it detects that you are unintentionally drifting out of your lane, it is able to send you warnings in order to keep you in your correct place. If you’re intentionally changing lanes, all you need to do is use your turn signal, and the system will know you’re switching lanes on purpose.

SYNC® 3 Technology

Take your favorite music, apps, navigation, and even your contacts and messages with you everywhere you go, thanks to the SYNC® 3 technology. When you connect your compatible smartphone to your Focus, you’ll gain access to pretty much everything on your phone on an easy-to-use touchscreen with voice activation. Simply press a button on the steering wheel and tell your Focus what you want to do. You’ll be amazed by how fast it responds!

Active Park Assist

Those who opt for the Focus Titanium are going to fall in love with the Active Park Assist feature. Perfect for those who don’t enjoy parking in tight spots, the Active Park Assist feature will automatically scan the area for a suitable parking spot, and will then proceed to park itself. All you’ll need to do is handle the brake, accelerator, and the shifting. Best of all, the Active Park Assist feature can even parallel park!
