2018 Escape Towing Capacity

Depending on which engine you choose, the 2018 Escape can provide you with a max tow rating ranging between 907 kilograms on the 1.5L EcoBoost® engine, and 1,587 kilograms with the 2.0L EcoBoost. The 1.5L will also be able to provide you with up to 179 horsepower and an estimated 7.7L/100 km on the highway!

Those looking for a little extra power will love the 2.0L EcoBoost engine available on the 2018 Escape. By utilizing Twin-Scroll technology to gather exhaust from pairs of cylinders in an alternating sequence, this engine is able to optimize pulse energy generated from the engine and brings it to the turbine wheel allowing for instant torque. The 2.0L EcoBoost engine is able to crank out up to 245 horsepower, and even features an Auto Start-Stop technology that is able to automatically shut the engine off when you come to a complete stop, and instantly start it back up when you release the brake pedal.
