How often to get maintenance done on your Ford vehicle
Your service schedule for your Ford vehicle is a rough schedule for when you should be scheduling various regular maintenance appointments. These include oil changes, filter replacements, tire inspections, and more. Ford service schedules can vary by model, but in general, this is what you need to know.
- Check your engine oil level every month. The normal rate for an oil change will be every 12,000 to 16,000 km driven, but it can be as few as 4,000 km. Things that may make it come sooner include high towing loads, extended idling, extreme temperatures, and other road conditions.
