With a new, sleek front and rear-end, the 2018 Ford Mustang delivers iconic muscle car performance with an improved aerodynamic design. What else is new on the 2018 Ford Mustang? The new Mustang features more customizable technology and improved performance capability, with an all-new available 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2018 Mustang is ushering out the 3.7-litre V6 engine and welcoming the 2.3-litre EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine that provides significant performance advantages. Ford’s transient overboost technology has been calibrated specifically for the Mustang to increase torque, providing a more thrilling driving experience.
The 5.0-litre V8 engine is still an option, though it has been significantly reworked to provide more power on the Mustang GT. The result yields robust low-end torque, improved fuel-efficiency, and high-rpm power.
Along with a revamped engine lineup, a new 10-speed automatic transmission arguably provides the best automatic transmission driving in the history of the Mustang — with improved responsiveness and overall performance.
Take a closer look at the 2018 Ford Mustang:
