First, let’s start by summarizing your trim level options. Each trim level will come in an F-250, F-350, and F-450 option, so this comparison guide will work for you no matter which level of power you’re opting for. Here’s a quick look at each trim level: 

  • The XL trim level is the base model. It is the most affordable model, which is a huge benefit for businesses on a budget. 
  • The XLT trim level is a step above the XL. It combines affordability with some of the best-loved features of Super Duty trucks. 
  • The Lariat trim level steps up performance and handling. It’s also on the lower end of the price range. 
  • The King Ranch trim level is a cross between luxury and rugged good looks.  
  • The Platinum trim level offers unique style and high-end features. 
  • The Limited trim level is the highest available option, equipped with all the premium materials and modern technologies you could wish for.

  • For workers who drive off the beaten path, such as park rangers, Rock Crawl mode is available on any trim level equipped with the Tremor ® Off-Road Package, which is available on the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Limited trim levels. 
  • A Snow Plow Prep package is available for snow clearance workers on all trim levels and can be combined with a Camper Package on all models, excluding Platinum and Limited. 
  • A 360-Degree Camera Package is standard on Lariat and higher trim levels and available on lower models. 
  • For jobs that require heavy-duty towing, a 5th-wheel/Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Prep Package is standard on the Limited trim level and available on lower models. 
  • Two kW of exportable power for tools and appliances with Pro Power Onboard is standard on King Ranch trim levels and higher and available on lower trim levels.
