For most residents of Strathcona County, Christmas is a time to gather around with family and share in the true blessings that we have been fortunate enough to receive – that’s a big part of why North Central Alberta has long been a prosperous and friendly region for so many. However, there are still local residents of our area that are less fortunate and may not have the means to enjoy the same kind of Christmas cheer that we’ve taken for granted. It’s because of this that our Sherwood Ford team is proud to announce our continued partnership with the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau – we’re hosting our Stuff-A-Giant Truck event all month long, and we invite you to come in and see what it entails!
As with years past, during November and into December, we’ll be loading up a Ford pickup on our lot with presents and gifts for the less fortunate members of our local community, and we need your help. The next time you stop by our dealership, we invite you to bring along some of the following items that we can load into our truck:
Of course, if you can’t make it into Sherwood Ford, there are plenty of Strathcona County Christmas Bureau donation boxes and big boots around Sherwood Park that you’re free to drop your gifts and cash donations off at! At the conclusion of our event, we’ll be donating our full truck to the Christmas Bureau.
We should also mention that throughout November, we’re also partnering with the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau in a fundraiser that hits a bit closer to home. If you’ve got your eye on new and improved 2019 Ford models, such as the Edge, Escape, F-150 or all others on our lot, come test drive one with us this month! Each time you do, we’ll donate $10 to the Bureau and its continued purpose of spreading Christmas cheer throughout the community. Also, you’re free to make a donation to the organization by clicking on this link, or by finding one of its “big boots” located around Strathcona County and retailers in Sherwood Park.
