Here you can see off-leash rinks that are available for use from May 1 through September 30. It is important to keep in mind that these off-leash areas are not available year-round. Also, dogs must be leashed until they enter the designated off-leash area.
Hermitage Park offers boating, walking, and cycling, as well as the dog off-leash area. Like the other two parks on this list, Hermitage Park is located along a river. Your dog will enjoy the space. Just be sure to keep them leashed when they aren’t in designated off-leash areas.
Multi-use trails and an expansive off-leash area make Terwillegar Park very dog friendly. There is also a canoe hand launch and a beautiful bridge with scenic views. Terwillegar Park is located along the North Saskatchewan River.
Gold Bar Park offers cross-country skiing in the winter, walking and cycling trails, picnic sites, and a large dog off-leash area, so there is plenty to do with your pooch. Located along a river, this park offers scenic views. Plus, it is close to Rundle Park and others if you want to make a day of it.
