Buena Vista Park 

Buena Vista Park and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park are adjacent parks, meaning that you can visit these first two in one short trip. Buena Vista Park offers an off-leash area for pets and multi-use trails.  

Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park 

With ball diamonds, a boat launch, horseshoe pits, and picnic sites, Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park has it all. Enjoy a day of activities, canoeing, hiking, and more. Plus, a playground will help entertain the kids. 

Terwillegar Park 

Don’t leave your pets behind for your excursion to Terwillegar Park. This park offers an expansive off-leash area for pets to enjoy nature alongside you. Several trails make this a great place to hike or mountain bike as well. 

Emily Murphy Park 

Located on the south bank of the North Saskatchewan River, Emily Murphy Park is wedged between Kinsmen Park and Hawrelak Park. The large number of parks in the area make this a great place to spend an entire day exploring.  

Belgravia Arts Park 

The Belgravia Arts Park is an outdoor showcase for performing and fine arts. Located on the site of the old Southwest Cultural Centre, the Arts Park features a 7-circuit outdoor labyrinth. This is a great place to visit for anyone who enjoys the arts. 

Victoria Park 

Located on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River, Victoria Park is the perfect place for a walk, run, or bike. In the winter, you can come here to cross-country ski or snowshoe along the same paths. A skating area is also set up in the winter months. For now, enjoy the baseball diamond and cycling trails.
