The Sherwood Ford team is happy to announce that we are partnering with Chase the Cure YEG, a local charity organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research and prevention. Below, you can find more information on how you can help a good cause for free at our dealership this month, as well as information on the main event. You can also visit us here at Sherwood Ford in Sherwood Park and we’d be happy to give you more information.
If you are looking for a way to support cancer research and prevention, then you’ll be happy to know that we’re making it easier than ever this month. We will donate $10 to the Alberta Cancer Foundation this month for every test drive taken. That means that all you have to do is show up and pick out a vehicle to test drive at Sherwood Ford, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Chase the Cure YEG is a non-profit organization, and they host events, raise money, and donate to cancer research and prevention. This non-profit is made up of race car drivers and their family, friends, and crew, which is why their events feature racing. This month, the money raised by their 4th annual event, No One Fights Alone, will all be donated to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
If you would like to learn more about Chase the Cure YEG, check out their website, chasethecureyeg.com. On their “About” page, you can learn about the history of the organization including past events that they have hosted and money they have raised. You can also make donations from their site or at p2p.onecause.com/chasethecureyeg.
It’s the 4th annual event hosted by Chase the Cure YEG, so you might have heard of it. This year, it will take place on July 30 and 31, 2021 at Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin. It will start at 4:00 PM each day and go until 10:00 PM. There will be racing, a silent auction, an outdoor concert, and more. We hope to see you there!
Everyone is invited to this event! You’ll even see the Sherwood Ford OilersNation #NATIONTRUCK there because it will be the official pace car for both days of races. Even if racing isn’t your thing, you can enjoy the live music and check out the auction items. Plus, you’re supporting a good cause and helping us get to our goal of $10,000 in donations. If you can’t make it, then please consider a test drive any day this month.
