By far our favourite part of being in the Sherwood Ford family is being able to make a real, noticeable difference in the communities that mean so much to us. That’s why we’re so proud to partner with Stollery Children’s Hospital again this year in support of its 8th annual Racing for a Cure event – check out what the event entails and how you can get involved below!
About Racing for A Cure
Racing for a Cure is an event tailored for both gearheads and those with a philanthropic state of mind; you’re invited to come down to River Cree Resort on June 22 at 6 pm for an evening full of exotic cars, high-revving adrenaline, and most of all, a great cause – sick kids that the hospital cares for will be able to ride in their dream vehicles!
All proceeds that Racing for A Cure brings will go straight to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, an organization that uses donations to support Pediatric Oncology and all other programs and services that it provides for kids across Edmonton and Alberta. Click here to get your gala tickets, which include a VIP lunch, climbing walls, shotgun rides in so many awesome vehicles, and much more!
Sherwood Ford’s support of Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation
Being that we’re heavily involved in both the automotive industry and the Edmonton metro area, an event designed to bring these two things together is prime. Throughout the month of June, for every test drive that you take at our dealership, we’ll make a donation to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and all the services that it provides.

We’ve also entered our #NationTruck in the Racing for a Cure parade that will be happening during the event, so be sure to keep an eye out and say hi!
How to Donate to Stollery Children’s Hospital
We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate to be able to support an organization like Stollery Children’s Hospital, and its Racing for a Cure event – since its inception in 2012, Racing for a Cure has raised over $2,700,000 for childhood cancer research, and if you’d like to make a donation for yourself, feel free to click this link and do so – thank you, and we’ll see you throughout June to make a real difference in the lives of so many kids!
