Below, we have three virtual events for you to check out. The advantages of choosing a virtual event are that expenses are fewer, planning is less difficult, and participants can join from all over. Of course, many events have gone virtual in the past year due to the pandemic.
Sherwood Ford is a proud business member of the sponsor for this event, Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce. This event takes place over multiple days during the lunch hour from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The speaker, Erica Thomas, will discuss how to use strategy to build your business. Registration is free, and this is a great event for entrepreneurs and small business owners located around Edmonton, AB.
Network for the Empowerment of Women is hosting this three-hour conference which will be held March 6th, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM AST. This event teaches useful tips for business and leadership. Four celebrated speakers will lead the event, and a full schedule can be viewed on the sponsor’s website, linked above.
Workout for Women’s Day is going virtual this year, which means that everyone can participate in classes taught by some of Vancouver’s best fitness instructors. The event aims to raise money for charities that support women. This event runs over the course of eight days, which means that you have plenty of options for course dates and times. Courses target a variety of fitness activities from running to dance and more.
We would like to highlight the three speakers of our first event listed above. This event which is a virtual event hosted here in Strathcona County, will be headed each day by a different speaker. Please read on to learn a little about the topics to be discussed.
Erica Thomas will lead the first day of the event. Her planned topics include teaching us how to build a strategy and how to align that strategy with business and marketing goals. This is great for new entrepreneurs and people who would like to rehash their business plan.
Pauline Melnyk has over 20 years of experience in business. She’s a business leader and strategic consultant who focuses on organizational changes and leadership development. This will be a good course for all small and large business owners.
Dr. Jody Carrington will close out this three-day event. Her topic on leadership and compassion fatigue is something that many of us can relate to in recent months. Anyone who works on a team will find this seminar useful.
