Until October 1, 2016 , the Broadmoor Boulevard existing overpass is closed to facilitate construction of the new Yellowhead Trail / Broadmoor Blvd interchange. The closure of Broadmoor Boulevard Bridge at Yellowhead Trail is required to allow for the construction of three new bridges. The Route map above is courtesy of Google maps. The green highlighted roads are the open routes to make your way to Sherwood Ford. As of June 1st, you can no longer exit onto Broadmoor Boulevard south off the Yellowhead Trail eastbound.
Yellowhead Trail eastbound to Broadmoor southbound will be rerouted along the permanent roadway. Yellowhead Trail westbound to Broadmoor southbound access will be detoured to the new Sherwood Drive Interchange. Broadmoor Boulevard traffic over Yellowhead Trail will be detoured to Sherwood Drive for access north and south of Yellowhead Trail. Broadmoor northbound to Yellowhead Trail westbound will be detoured to the new Sherwood Drive Interchange. Broadmoor northbound to Yellowhead Trail westbound and Anthony Henday Drive southbound will be rerouted along a newly constructed ramp onto Yellowhead Trail. Broadmoor northbound to Yellowhead Trail eastbound will be rerouted along the permanent roadway.
