This past August, we raised money for charity by hosing an All-Ford car show, as well as raising money from test drives that people throughout our community have taken.
Giving back to our community is one of our driving forces here at Sherwood Ford. We know that without the great men and women in our community, we wouldn’t be in business! That’s why earlier this year we decided to raise money in order to help the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Unfortunately, many community members have been affected by cancer, or are close with someone who has been affected by it. By raising money, we hope to be part of the solution to one day discovering a cure so that our loved ones and community members won’t have to deal with what cancer may cause.

Sherwood Ford Donates $8,000 to Cancer Foundation
Thanks to all who came out and participated in our All-Ford Classic Car Show, we were able to raise $2,500! We’re so excited and proud to know that our community members are willing to go the extra mile to help make a better society for us all. In addition to the money raised at the Classic Car Show, we were also able to raise $5,500 from test drives during the month of August! Add it all up and we were able to give $8,000 to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
While we all may need to be patient while awaiting a cure for cancer, we can all rest a little easier knowing that, as a community, we’ve taken a giant step towards helping to find a cure.
