Sherwood Ford is proud to sponsor the local Sherwood Park Crusaders Alberta Junior Hockey Team! Players Merritt Oszytko, Ty Readman and Alex Rotundo are strong core veteran Forwards returning this season.
Readman led the team in scoring among rookies last season and is looking to provide even more offense.
The versatile Ozytko is a threat in all areas of the ice.
The steady defensive awareness of Rotundo is unmatched!
Together these veteran players should progress even further in their second year in the Alberta Junior Hockey League! Team Marketing Director Spencer Love predicts a championship win for the team!
Last season the team stats recorded 39 wins, 19 losses, 2 Overtime Losses and finished 5th in the AJHL Northern Division with 80 points. Love says, the teams first home exhibition game is September 6th at 7pm at the Sherwood Park Arena. They’ll square off in their first home opener game against rivals September 16th against the Spruce Grove Saints.
