Below, we’ve provided a recap of the MS Canada Edmonton MS Walk that took place on May 28th, 2023. Hundreds of individuals from Sherwood Park and Edmonton came together last week to support those living with multiple sclerosis (MS). By donating and encouraging others to contribute, we hope to improve the lives of individuals affected by MS. The team at Sherwood Ford would like to thank everyone who participated in or donated to the event.
The 2023 MS Walk had a fundraising goal of $4 million, and as of now, the total funds raised have surpassed $3 million. This remarkable achievement highlights the incredible dedication and support of participants, sponsors, and donors across the country. The Edmonton Jayman BUILT MS Walk of our community set a goal of $285 thousand and has already raised over $245 thousand.
The MS Walk is an event that unites people from all walks of life. In the Edmonton walk alone, an impressive 1,057 individuals participated. Thousands more joined organized events across the country, collectively striving to raise awareness and support for MS. These participants, whether walking or supporting from the sidelines, showed their unwavering dedication to the cause.
As a dealership dedicated to making a difference in the community, Sherwood Ford donated to help achieve the fundraising goal. We’re committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of those living with MS, and we’re grateful to be able to sponsor the MS Canada Edmonton MS Walk for 2023.
