Two Big Dudes Need a Home Together

On Saturday, April 27, local dealership Sherwood Ford partnered with Edmonton’s Second Chance Animal Rescue Society for its annual Adopt-A-Pet-Athon event, welcoming animal lovers from around the area to adopt new, loving pets to take home with them and their families.  But a pair of dogs remain without a home to call their own.

Though the event has since passed, Sherwood Ford is still taking steps to assist SCARS in its goal of providing a forever family for its animals. The dealership is currently featuring a pair of dogs named Tank and Charlie to help them find a home.

These two dogs come as a bonded pair, meaning that interested parties are encouraged to adopt both. Tank is a mixed breed of Rottweiler, German Shepherd and Mastiff; and Charlie is a full-bred German Shepherd. Both dogs are house trained, good with kids, and great with other dogs and cats in the house. They are best suited for a house with plenty of seating surfaces and a yard to play in; still, some caution should be exercised when taking them on walks with a leash.

The adoption fee to take Tank and Charlie home is $500, and individuals should be aware that Charlie requires eye medication that will cost around $46 per month. Members of the public who would like to learn more about these two dogs and meet them are encouraged to visit their official biography on the Second Chance Animal Rescue website.

Sherwood Ford is proud to work with Second Chance Animal Rescue  Society as it helps to bring loving animals to families that will cherish them for years to come.
